Most times, when people hear Smokey eye they think of a black or brown eye lid (even if na blow then give the person…lol). But nowadays, a variety of colours can be used to achieve this look such as pink, blue, purple, green and lots more. This Smokey eye gives off a bold effect, and sometimes it could be sexy (bating my lashes).this could also be achieved by combining two or more colours.
NOTE: this idea of colour combination is strictly for those who have good mastery of COLOUR BLENDING not COLOUR BLOCKING. Please don’t say I didn’t warn you. Don’t blame me for anything. So, if you know you can’t pull the colour blending style stick to single colour smokey eye effect, it’s still classy and gorgeous.
So, for today’s smokey eye we would be using dark purple and navy blue eye shadows.
STEP 2: With a flat eye shadow brush, apply the dark purple Eyeshadow from the inner corner of your eye lid to the center of your eyelid.
STEP 3: Clean the flat Eyeshadow brush, and get some navy blue eye shadow on it. Then apply to the second half of the eyelid that has no colour, from the top of the eyelid to the outer corner of the eye. Make sure your eye shadow get to your crease line.
STEP 4: Then blend well
STEP 5: Line your eye with an eyeliner very close to your lower lash line.
STEP 6: Then, take a smudge brush or an angled brush and smudge the produce gently to create a smokey effect.
STEP 7: Use an eyeliner of your choice to line the upper eyelid very close to the lash line.
STEP 8: Use a light or shimmery Eyeshadow on your brow bone to create a highlight. This also helps to brighten the smokey eye.
STEP 9: Add volumizing mascara to finish the look, Get ready to hit the town….lol
and that's how to achieve a muah-smokey eye... keeping smokey up the town.. until next time, keep being fab...xoxo..muah!!!
